Happy Monday dear readers, are you ready to figure out what happens to Maritza next? Ready for some tea ladies… let’s dive into it.
… Maritza glanced at me, said nothing and started crying .
You know there are moments where I wished I would just shut up; and, oh man did I wish it was at that moment!
“What do you mean by that” she mumbled.
“Isn’t love supposed to be enough”?
“Listen Maritza”, as I began, love is not everything. You see, as much as Hollywood want to sell us this fantasy that love is sufficient; reality tend to prove us otherwise.
Loving someone is so much more than the never ending “I love you”, the irritating “babes”, “baes”…Love is pure and genuine.
Of course nobody is perfect! We’re all bound to make mistakes, one way or another! At least once in our lives…
“Love is a set of emotions and behaviors characterized by intimacy, passion, and commitment. It involves care, closeness, protectiveness, attraction, affection, and trust. Love can vary in intensity and can change over time. It is associated with a range of positive emotions, including happiness, excitement, life satisfaction, and euphoria, but it can also result in negative emotions such as jealousy and stress”
but, what if .. what if love was really enough? intrigued.
Is love supposed to hurt? Maritza froze. Surprised by my question, she grabbed her macchiato that was on the table and left …
Maritza couldn’t handle what I was getting myself ready to tell her. She chose the easiest way out.
She will come back, I promise, as I know, the truth.. and that is LOVE IS NOT ENOUGH …
What if I told you in order to love, you must be ready to let go of your ego, pride, and accept the other person for who they are and what they stand for…love without actions mean nothing!
Our misconception of what love should be or feel like, comes from what society is feeding us nowadays!
If you’re not ready to love yourself, how do you expect to be loved?
SEE YA NEXT MONDAY .
